My greatest work to date has been a little item I like to call the QuickSilver Gland.

The QuickSilver Gland allows a human being to secrete a substance called QuickSilver.  QS is a substance which bends visible light.  When surrounding an object (or person) the QuickSilver bends visible light around it, and effectively renders that object invisible to the naked eye.

With sufficient mind control, a human can make the gland secrete QuickSilver to specific portions of the body or even to temporarily cover external objects.  

When fresh, the QS is like plastic wrap.  After a few moments, the QS will harden and flake away, then disappear itself.  A human would constantly be refreshing the layer of QuickSilver around his/her body.
